Latasin tommosen filen jonka nauhotin jo yli 10 vuotta sitten. Muistaakseni ´98 ja ´99 piti olla erityisen sankka Leonidisade, mutta nuo 18.11.1999 heijastumat eivät mielestäni ole kovin pitkiä. Äänitystaajuus oli 101,8MHz. Klipissä on kuultavissa ainakin Madonnaa, Manu Chaota, Army Of Loversia....Radio Sony ST-SB 920 ja antenni 7-elementtinen yagi 25m maanpinnasta lokaattorissa KP31PQ eli Mikkelissä.
Ihan vaihtelevaa äänimaisemaa! Kovin lyhyitä pätkiä per asema.
Ohessa 38s klippi, jossa esiintyvät R Regina, Polskie R, CRo R Praha ja saksankielinen viime Perseideiltä: http://www.box.net/shared/7qkba5hvlu
Tasatunti auttoi asiaa hieman.

Thats what the Leonids brought here. It is a pity that I slept from
0330-1618 UTC. I thouht it to be better so in order to listen to the real
peak next night - well it never came. from 22-0330 there was uniterrupted
meteor action on the band. from 6.18 on there were short couple of minutes
interuptions inreasing in number the later it got.
30 sec to 1 minute lasting signals were available very often. The records
were Today FM 100.6 and Omroep Zeeland: they came through 4 minutes 30
seconds both!!!

Hyvinhän tuo klipsu tuli vuosien takaa. Aikas hyvin, 23 asemaa ja 4½ min pätkiä! Lisäksi silmään osuu: I, IRL, G, AUT, joita täällä ei meteoriiteilla liiemmin kuulu. Pari sataa kilsaa sisämaahan tekee tehtävänsä.
Jospa tämän vuoden Eta Aquariids:it (5.5-6.5) yltäisivät samaan.
